Digital channels are playing an increasingly important role in the marketing mix. New solutions must inspire customers and users, meet the increased requirements and enable differentiation from the competition.
In order to be able to offer your customers web experiences with an unmistakable degree of attractiveness and realism in today’s media constant fire, we have joined forces with the digital agency talsand from Düsseldorf. Together, we are pursuing the goal of taking marketing and sales opportunities for companies to the qualitatively next level. Analogue and digital marketing channels must be linked in a meaningful way. By combining both worlds, strengths are complemented, customer experiences are enhanced, reach is increased and impact periods are extended. talsand advises, designs and develops – from web experience and mobile applications to digital installations for events and augmented, virtual and mixed reality applications.

We call it Render Streaming

Cost-intensive and maintenance-intensive equipment is the most common reason that prevents companies from using 3D solutions. And consumers also need correspondingly powerful hardware to be able to play out the content cleanly. Standardised graphics cards in the notebooks and PCs of leading manufacturers are not enough. So far, high costs and a loss of graphics quality have been on the con list. But as always in life, there is a solution for everything. Ours is called: Render Streaming.

Render Streaming is a solution that provides high-quality rendering capabilities via the Internet browser. The presentation of products, services or processes can be staged in a correspondingly high-quality and detailed manner by means of powerful 3D engines, without the recipients needing highly equipped computers or further hardware. The actual computing power is provided by cloud computing on graphics cards or graphics processors (GPU) installed in servers. Only a streaming signal is sent to one or several recipients simultaneously in real time.

Render Streaming removes the last doubts. The intelligent combination of state-of-the-art technologies, our own FlexCompute Cloud and growing bandwidths is the key to success. We offer companies a German cloud infrastructure. This is needed to be able to outsource computing power for graphics applications. Our virtual machines in combination with the latest graphics processing units (GPU) form the elementary basis for customer projects in the area of 3D, XR and AI. Rendering thus already takes place in the data centre and not only on the customer’s end device. As a result, highly complex 3D applications can be streamed on almost any end device in unprecedented quality, regardless of whether it is a laptop, smartphone or tablet. Complex content can thus also be used on mobile devices without installing additional apps and without VR glasses or other mixed reality devices.

With this clever combination of established technologies, unique user experiences can be created, such as 3D company and product presentations, digital showrooms and tours of company buildings, factory halls or exhibitions. Thanks to the use of 3D engines, realistic representations in a resolution of up to 8K can be combined with animations, effects and extensive interaction possibilities – and all this completely platform-independently.

The new era of XR
GPU rendering technologies have been around for many years. With the use of render streaming technology and state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure, a new era is dawning for developments around VR and AR. Our graphics processes are able to render 3D worlds in such detail that you simply have to see it to believe it. The end result is graphics that reach the next level of appeal and realism. The experience, as well as the “wow” effect, is something consumers will never forget. Companies that rely on render streaming are ahead of the game and have a clear competitive advantage. Property developers and architects, for example, have the planned property visualised to virtually guide potential buyers through the individual rooms and floors. This offers customers real added value and increases their imagination for future room layouts and interiors.

But processes and applications that rely on artificial intelligence (AI) training and deep learning are also perfectly suited to weSystems’ GPU servers. Simply put, the GPU is the brain of the solution, while the processor (CPU) is “the slave”. Using a CPU to handle complex and intensive tasks can result in system downtime. To maintain a constant operating base, the workload is shifted to the graphics processor. This results in another plus point. Servers equipped with GPUs consume less energy to complete the same tasks. This protects the environment and also saves on electricity costs.

But not only the quality, but also the global accessibility of complex applications and the maximum security of the servers are decisive factors for a successful 3D experience. It is important to rely on a highly available, fail-safe and scalable infrastructure – tailored to the needs, specifications and compliances of the company. ISO 27001 certification, DSGVO and GDPR compliance are just a few of the keywords to be mentioned here.

The possibilities of GPU computing and render streaming are almost limitless. Let’s start a journey together into an exciting and inspiring virtual world today.

In an increasingly digitalised world, automation is playing an ever greater role. The IT industry is no exception. By using technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), companies can optimise their processes, achieve efficiency gains and develop innovative solutions. In this blog post, we take a closer look at IT automation, its benefits and future potential.

There are a variety of tasks and processes that can be automated. In general, it is said that repetitive, rule-based and time-intensive tasks are particularly well suited to automation. Here are some of many examples of areas where automation can be used:

Data processing and data analysis

The collection, extraction, transformation and loading of data, as well as data analytics, such as the generation of reports or dashboards, can be automated to gain insights faster and more accurately.

Software deployment and management

Software deployment and updates can be automated to speed up the installation process and minimise human error. This includes system configuration and user account management.

IT infrastructure management

The management of IT infrastructures such as servers, network components and databases can be automated. This includes tasks such as patching, monitoring, error detection, scaling resources and securing systems.

Business processes and workflows

Recurring business processes and workflows can be automated to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times. This includes tasks such as invoicing, order processing, approval processes and employee onboarding.

Data backup and data protection

Automatic backup of data and monitoring of security threats can help ensure data security. Automated processes can also help with data protection compliance, for example by automatically anonymising or deleting data.

Marketing and email campaigns

Automation can be used in marketing to create personalised email campaigns, nurture leads and strengthen customer relationships. Automated marketing tools allow companies to automate the customer lifecycle and deliver relevant content to the right audience at the right time.

These are just a few examples of tasks and processes that can be automated. In practice, there are many other areas where automation can be used to increase efficiency, reduce errors and drive innovation.

Automation has become a driving force for many benefits in businesses across all industries. In the following section, we take a look at the benefits of automation and how it helps businesses achieve their goals more effectively.

Increasing efficiency

One of the key benefits of automation through IT is the increase in efficiency of business processes. Routine activities that normally take up a lot of time and resources can be automated through RPA. This allows employees to focus on more demanding tasks, while repetitive work is completed efficiently and error-free. Automation not only reduces processing time, but also improves the accuracy and consistency of processes, leading to higher productivity.

Cost optimisation

By automating tasks and processes, companies can achieve significant cost savings. The use of RPA reduces the reliance on manual labour, which can lead to a reduction in staff costs. In addition, automated processes can minimise errors, saving costs on corrections and rework. The long-term savings from automation are an important competitive factor that can give companies a financial advantage.

Innovation and competitive advantages

Automation through IT enables companies to develop innovative solutions and secure competitive advantages. By automating data analysis and decision-making, companies can make faster and more informed business decisions. In addition, automated processes can shorten the time-to-market for new products and services, giving companies an edge over the competition.

Improving the customer experience

Automation through IT also has a positive impact on the customer experience. By using chatbots and virtual assistants, companies can provide fast and efficient customer service around the clock. Automated processes also enable personalised interactions and tailored offers for customers, leading to better customer retention and satisfaction.
